Saxophonist, Percussion & Bass
Rhiannon Dewey is a saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist from Charlotte, North Carolina. Drawing on influences ranging from jazz and non-western styles to synth-pop, hip hop, funk, and electronic music, her melodic playing style and section arranging have captivated audiences nationally and internationally in venues from intimate jazz clubs to large-scale performing arts centers and festival stages.
Rhiannon has toured and recorded with numerous projects, including Charlotte-based alt rock band Late Night Special, comedy songwriters Two Tree Hill, Rebekah Todd, Celebrating Billy Joel, Tennis Elbow, and Azul.
She holds a Bachelor of Music Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Master of Jazz Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Boulder.
