Guitarist
Jamie Humphries reunites with a few former bandmates from The Australian Pink Floyd Show on Brit Floyd’s 2026 The Moon, The Wall and Beyond Tour, bringing his powerful and expressive guitar work back to the music of Pink Floyd. Jamie first performed alongside Damian Darlington, Ian Cattell, and other Brit Floyd alumni during his time with the production in 2006 – 2008.
A British guitarist now based in Stockholm, Sweden, Jamie has built an international career spanning more than three decades. He has toured extensively with Queen legend Brian May, including performances at the BBC Proms in Hyde Park and shows celebrating what would have been Freddie Mercury’s 65th birthday. His collaborations have also seen him share stages with Roger Taylor, Jeff Beck, Mike Rutherford (Genesis), and Tom Chaplin of Keane.
Jamie has performed alongside many of the world’s most respected guitarists, including Joe Satriani, Richie Kotzen, Steve Morse, Guthrie Govan, Dave Kilminster, Michael Schenker, and Vinnie Moore, and has shared the stage with renowned musicians such as bassist Stuart Hamm, legendary Whitesnake and Black Sabbath bassist Neil Murray, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
Jamie has also held principal guitar roles in the hit Queen musical “We Will Rock You” across Europe and has toured arenas throughout Sweden with the Queen tribute spectacular “Champions of Rock.”
Beyond the stage, Jamie is one of the world’s most respected guitar educators. A longtime contributor to Guitar Techniques Magazine and a lesson creator for Guitar World and the Gibson App, he has released more than 200 instructional video titles and authored numerous guitar transcription books covering artists such as Joe Satriani, Dire Straits, Whitesnake, and Thin Lizzy.
Jamie runs The Jamie Humphries Guitar Studio in Stockholm, a large, well-equipped facility focused on recording and producing guitar content. There, Jamie creates audio and video lessons for the Gibson App, Gibson USA’s innovative virtual teaching platform. He is also an experienced producer and mix engineer, having worked on projects with longtime Roger Waters guitarist Dave Kilminster and other artists.
